PTSD Info

Although this site is for documentaries and feature films that support our troops, it’s important to include information on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

While people can experience PTSD after any traumatic experience (and sometimes not until years after the experience), PTSD is particularly prevalent in men and women who have had war-related experiences, including the kinds of war-related experiences portrayed in the films on this site.

As opposed to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), which can result from a concussion of an explosion even if the head is not directly hit, PTSD cannot be “seen” in order to be diagnosed. This is why we are providing a free report here on PTSD.

Even if you think no one you know has PTSD, we highly recommend you read this report now. You may be surprised at what you learn and how this information could help someone close to you.
