Issue 1: “Sea, Air, and Land”
Lt. Commander Mollie Sanders (call sign Gearhead) is assigned as the back-seater for Lt. Commander Kevin Witlow (call sign Surfer) on his plane flying off an aircraft carrier. When the plane is fired upon by a missile, only Surfer’s incredible flying skills save them. But it is Gearhead’s electronic skills that send the two of them stateside on an urgent mission to prevent terrorists from an attack on Los Angeles.
