Social Impact Focus of Miller Mosaic

Many years ago when I was the working partner in a Beverly Hills toy store, I asked the store manager why she constantly shifted the merchandise. She explained it was good marketing to create different visual displays.

While I continue to think this was very good advice, it is not the reason I recently have been shifting my websites — combining several websites into the main www.MillerMosaicLLC.com — and changing the focus of the combined sites.

The home page now has four options — each for what is really a different website within the overall website: Miller Mosaic, Phyllis Zimbler Miller, Yael K. Miller, Al Zimbler.

What is really different now is the top nav — Books, Film & TV, Plays, Social Impact.

And it is the Social Impact section that pleases me the most:

  • U.S. Military (including information on PTSD)
  • Combatting Anti-Semitism (the focus of my free nonfiction Holocaust theater project www.ThinEdgeOfTheWedge.com)
  • Reclaiming Harriet Beecher Stowe (and the heroic character Tom in her UNCLE TOM’S CABIN)
  • Al & Ruth Zimbler Technology Fund (for www.Film2Future.org underserved students in Los Angeles)
  • Safer Sex in Fiction (using fiction to encourage responsible actions)
  • Other Opportunities (such as preserving American Indian culture)

I hope you enjoy the different visual displays on this site. And subscribe for updates.
