I often write about the microblogging platform Twitter.com because I believe that Twitter is such a powerful social networking tool.

I’m now on my third three-ring binder of collected Twitter information because I read everything I can about this free online resource.

And I found it of particular interest that Laura Isensee in a July 24th Reuters article titled “Twitter to pitch add-on tools to businesses” said that “the company will work to position the product as a communication network and less of a social network.”

Yes, I thought, that’s exactly it. Twitter is an amazing communication network if used effectively.
