Twitter enables you to connect with other people and other companies without having to friend them, follow them, or any other connection requirement (example at http://twitter.com/ZimblerMiller )

Facebook Page for businesses (formerly known as a fan page) enables you to interact with prospective clients or customers in ways similar to interaction on your website (example at www.facebook.com/powermarketing )

  • Including working with you by email to develop keyword optimized title for Facebook Page

LinkedIn profile and the new LinkedIn company page are important in order to establish your credentials for yourself and for your company (example at www.linkedin.com/in/phylliszimblermiller )

  • Including joining 2-3 appropriate groups for your brand

YouTube channel: We will create a YouTube channel for you and upload one video (provided by you) that we will optimize for search engines. You can then use the same optimization format when you upload additional videos.

Gravatar.com account (used as your photo when posting comments on other people’s blogs)

Twellow.com account (a directory listing by category for Twitter)

Bit.ly or other link shortener account both to shorten shared links and to track the click rate of those shared links

Connecting the Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin accounts so that updates on one will go selectively to the other two accounts (we are now using the free service from www.hootsuite.com to provide more control over sharing content between sites)
